No its not real, sorry, its just an advertising campaign

It is just another scam. Send it back or throw it away, I have got the same thing, it's just a fake.

Please what ever you do don't try and cash that. All they want is for you to buy magazines subscriptions so you'll think if you do that you will have a better chance at winning all that money. They don't care about you as a consumer,they just want money. I use to go for the same scam years ago but now I just deposit all that kind of mail into G. I really don't think anyone wins that money.

My sister was scammed like this a few years ago, but if you feel it is real or you want to find out call the bank listed on the check, tell them how you came to obtain the check and ask them if it is real or if you are being scammed, 9 times out of 10 you will get someone on the other end of that phone that is more than willing to help you! Well I work at a credit union and see this kind of stuff all of the time. You can call wells fargo and ask them if they will tell you if the account the check is drawn on is a open and active account. Depending on what they say then tell them what the story is on the check. our credit union caught a scam in the early stages and before the bank even knew that there was a fraud. Talk to your banking branch manager also they can look at alot of factors that we are trained to look at hope that helps.
