Many of us fail the initial glucose tolerance test. Take the three hour one. Chances are you will probably pass it just fine. For some reason those first tests often fail. Until the SECOND one fails, don't worry too much. Increase your water intake to help with the swelling. That sounds strange but it will help your kidneys flush the fluid. Try to keep your feet elevated when you are sitting. Just relax. Your little one will be here soon enough. Good luck and best wishes.

Usually a glucose test is given around the 16 week mark. I failed both tests and had to follow a strict diet during pregnancy. You need to be eating six small meals a day, paying close attention to starches. Your doctor should be able to go over with you what your diet should consist of. As long as you control it for the rest of your pregnancy, you should be okay, although it is a hard diet to follow. I assume your doctor will want you to test your levels at home about 2 hours after meals to see how food is affecting your levels. At any rate, follow your doctors orders and I'm sure it will be fine. My sister and I both had gestational diabetes and had perfectly healthy babies. I kept mine after my daughters birth, my sister did not. Good luck to you.

Is there actual laws about who is your is your uncle, aunt inlaws exinlaws. if my uncle died his wife remarried by law of the land would she still be my aunt and what about the person she married would they actually be related to me and could there be actually be a nepitism charge involved with them?
Has anyone found anything really interesting or surprising whilst tracing their family history? has anyone found someone famous or has anyone discovered skeletons in their closets?
I'd never thought much about it, but my sister's now found our genealogy back to 1540. even more odd, she found relatives way back then with my name and my wife's name. spooky.
