Question

Asked 1/23/2011

If you could time travel when would go to and why?

I'd love to meet some of my ancestors and try to get them to answer all the things I've never been able to figure out in my genealogy.

I would go back to when I was 8 and tell my younger self to not buy some things i bought, stay away from certain people and just give some advice

I'd travel back about 23 years and enjoy my children when they were little again. We had the best times when they were little. We have grandchildren now and have a lot of fun with them too, but if I could go back to just 1 day, I'd also see some relatives that have gone on to Heaven, we really miss them.

I would travel a thousand years into the future, to see if we're still here, and if so, if we have found the answers to some of the big questions facing us today: have we finally made sense of quantum theory? Have we explained the origin of our universe/what happened before the big bang? Was there a before or did time itself begin with the big bang? What is time anyway? Is there intelligent life elsewhere in the universe? I'd be very disappointed if we haven't answered at least one of these.

I'd pick up the sport result from the entire year, go one year back and start becoming rich. Just like in that movie Back to the Future, only this is a more simple version so I don't need to go to the future and back again.
Oh, and then I would put my money on several banks and live happily and peacefully from the annual income through savings accounts.

I would travel back to the days of Israelites King Solomon reign. He was a wise ruler after having asked God for wisdom. He was fair, just and the nation of Israel prospered as long as they relied on God.

If I could travel back in time I would go to Ancient Egypt. I would want to see how the Great Pyramids were built. This would be awesome to witness the construction of them. There are many theories on how the pyramids were built. I would just like to close the book on this one.

Answer 8/9 - Submitted 1/23/2011

I would travel back to when my son was a baby and do a few things differently this time around, not just with him, but with my life, my relationships and myself in general.

Answer 9/9 - Submitted 1/24/2011

I'd go back to Sumerian times, and hopefully see what really happened!
