What are the advantages of family tree maker genealogy program over roots magic genealogy program? |

So far I have only used Family Tree Maker, but I am very happy with the results I have by using this family history program. I have been working on my family tree for over 30 years and as you might guess I have a ton of information about the various family units and individuals I have tracked down.
The program allows you to move freely between individuals and the amount of information you can input and display is extremely handy. You can also upload or download GEDcoms (an acronym for GEnealogical Data COMmunication). All in all one of the best genealogical software programs I have had the opportunity to use.
